Groundworks South West round three opens September 1
Applications for Groundworks South West round three are now being accepted. SWCC is calling for applications for on-ground focused projects that will result in biodiversity protection, coastal management and sustainable agriculture outcomes for the Australian Government's Caring for our Country Natural Resource Management (NRM) targets.

Grants available for the spring baiting season
The South West Catchments Council is offering grants of up to $1000 for community groups and public organisations to support feral animal control this spring, as part of the Red Card for Rabbits and Foxes (RCRF) Program. Click here to download the grant guidelines and application form.

Funding for NRM works in Geographe Catchment waterways
Owners of land adjacent to waterways in the Geographe Catchment area may be eligible for funding for works such as fencing, revegetation and associated weed control, stock crossings and off-stream watering points.
The South West Catchments Council (SWCC), through the Australian Government’s Caring for our Country Program, and GeoCatch, through the Department of Water, have incentive funding available for conservation and restoration works on private properties.
Twelve catchments are earmarked for the program, and the South West Catchments Council and GeoCatch are each responsible for six of these:

Funding for NRM Works in Peel-Harvey catchment waterways
Owners of land adjacent to waterways in the Peel-Harvey catchment area may be eligible for funding for works such as fencing, revegetation and associated weed control, stock crossings and off-stream watering points.
The Peel-Harvey Catchment Council (PHCC), through the Department of Water, is offering subsidies to help landowners improve their land and waterways in the coastal region of the Peel-Harvey catchment. The South West Catchments Council (SWCC) is also providing funding through the Australian Government’s Caring for our Country Program.
